Ryan and Karen

Last Saturday I got to shoot a fantastic outdoor wedding at the Pittsburgh Aviary in the North Side. It was a small and elegant family affair that started at the Inn on the Mexican War Streets.

As the evening went on, the partying began and even the thick humid Pittsburgh air couldn't ruin the fun. Sweat poured, but nobody stopped dancing until the final song.

Ryan and Karen both work in DC for the Environmental Protection Agency. I just want to express my thanks to those who dedicate their lives to make a difference in this world. It's difficult to appreciate what we have until it's gone. Their work is unlike a photographer's. While they continue to preserve our environment I'll continue to preserve memories.
